Relevance of ALPAS

Despite the fast-paced activities that have befallen on the "current lifestyle," one can see that most people's day-to-day life is devoid of physical activities for the sole purpose of exercise. Hence, alpas.

BREAKING FREE


Being a Filipino term, the goal of ALPAS is to break free from the sedentary lifestyle that reduces the modern Filipino to a "couch potato." Most of our activities are composed of sitting in front of a desk or an armchair the whole day and going home to sleep. The main goal of our advocacy slash blog site is to promote wellness and fitness as well as serve as a challenge for Trisha and I to dedicate a proportion of our time for physical activities. In this journey, we are tasked to at least 30-60 minutes of physical activity time for a week and expand that time as we move forward. The priority is to create a happier and better version of ourselves as well as serve as an inspiration for others who are also struggling to start their physical fitness journey.
